The pandemic put travel into a new perspective and a new type of tourism was developed that shares the excitement of adventure with added service projects to leave the destination better than when they arrived. This is season 2 of the regenerative tours.

Join First Nature Tours for an overnight outing that includes guided kayaking on the magical Willamette River, vital service projects alongside a local nonprofit, cozy craft beverage tastings, and modern accommodations. You will leave the weekend with a deeper connection and understanding with nature and the local community.Day One:We have a shuttle service that will pick you up from Portland, OR , or meet us in the Salem-Independence Area. L﻿eft Coast Estates is our host for a full morning of wine! Their inspirational work in sustainability, restoration, and regeneration makes them perfect for our group starting with a custom, private tour of the property. We'll break bread with the famous wood-fired pizzas. Once energized, we'll get to opportunity to contribute to their noble work of restoring the native Oregon oaks. Before we depart, Left Coast will guide us in a private wine tasting and an opportunity to grab a bottle before you go! After lunch, we will enjoy the Willamette River on a guided kayak tour with eNRG kayaking. Our professional guides will share the rich ecology and history as you paddle. I﻿n the evening there's a chance to explore historic downtown Independence, OR and enjoy dinner at a local brewery. Day Two:Book the hot tub or take a walk along the river in our modern accommodations at The Independence Hotel. We'll enjoy a breakfast at the hotel before we'll depart back to Portland. The price of this booking includes all meals, transportation, activities, and hotel stay. This tour is available to be booked privately for groups or corporate events.
