New Venture Challenge: Finals for the 2-minute pitch and 7-minute presentations, Student Gallery, Campus-wide Showcase, and Awards Gala

McGuirk Arena

New Venture Challenge (NVC) is an annual event hosted by the Isabella Bank Institute for Entrepreneurship (IBIE). We're celebrating our 11th year of the NVC competition. Throughout the years, NVC has helped student entrepreneurs launch their ventures through our award funding and development opportunities. This year we are excited to enhance NVC by adding a Campus Innovation Showcase that includes student innovators and entrepreneurs across campus. These talented students & faculty join our NVC participants to celebrate innovation & entrepreneurship at CMU. This includes Fashion, Engineering, Broadcast & Cinematic Arts, and more. The 2023 NVC competition consists of two tracks: 2-minute (Elevator Pitch) pitch and 7-minute presentation. Preliminary rounds are conducted virtually April 11, and selected finalists will compete in the NVC finals event, April 21.The New Venture Challenge Finals event will consist of the following timetable:

12:30PM - Registration and guest check-in starts.

1PM - 2:30PM - Elevator Pitch Competition.
