Recycled Art Sale VIP Preview and Opening Night Event

A not-for-profit visual arts organization since 1960, The Art Center Highland Park (TAC) provides a visual arts education to Highland Park and its surrounding communities, assuring access to the arts for all ages and cultural interests. This vigorous community-centered organization inspires everyone from tots through seniors to achieve and transform their world through more than 400 art classes offered annually in photography, oil and acrylic painting, watercolor, pastel, mixed media painting, ceramics, jewelry making, metalsmithing, digital arts, fiber art, mosaics, assemblage and more. TAC also brings national and regional art of established and emerging artists to our galleries through 20 exhibits of contemporary art each year to the surrounding community and Chicagoland area.TAC MissionThe Art Center Highland Park (TAC) is a non-profit arts organization dedicated to education in the contemporary visual arts through classes, outreach programs, gallery exhibitions and events. Recycled Art Sale 2022

The Annual Recycled Art Sale includes thousands of pieces of art that have been donated to The Art Center from private collectors, galleries, estates, corporate art collections, and institutions throughout the year.

The Annual Recycled Art Sale returns! Visit The Art Center Highland Park to peruse an expansive collection of artwork ranging from posters, jewelry, outdoor sculptures, and decorative objects, to deeply discounted works by artists such as Salvador Dali, LeRoy Neiman, and the late Chicago-based artist Lee Godie. The Recycled Art Sale will run from October 14th to 22nd.This event supports scholarships, outreach programs, exhibition expenses, community events, and everything else The Art Center does! In addition, it allows members of our community to find beautiful pieces at a fraction of the cost and prevents artwork from finding its way to the landfill. The Art Center, in turn, is proud to recycle art to Community Partners for Affordable Housing, Designs for Dignity, Chicago Furniture Bank, and other local not-for-profits.Join us on October 13th for our opening night party at 6 pm, or to get the very first opportunity to buy at 5 pm. These are both fantastic opportunities to see all we have to offer in a private setting before anyone else!
