<H2>ABOUT CHAOYANG：</H2>
Chaoyang District, located in the eastern part of Beijing, is the largest district with the largest population and economy in the city. With an area of 470.8 square kilometers, it has a permanent resident population of 3.955 million. The District, a new urban area with rapid development, is home to the main venues of 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. And it has the following characteristics:  First, rapid economic development. It features highend elements, constantly optimized industrial structure and strong business atmosphere, making it top of the city in terms of main economic indicators. In 2015, its GDP totaled 464.02 billion yuan, with an increase of 7.0% over the previous year at current price, accounting for 20.2% of the city’s GDP; in the same year, its general public budget revenue reached 44.8 billion yuan, increased by 8.8%, ranking the second among the 16 districts of Beijing. What’s more, it is the home to headquarters of 108 multinational companies, making up more than 70% of those of the city, and the paid-in value of FDI amounted to $ 9.34 billion, accounting for 71% of that of the city and proving an external-oriented economy of the District.  Second, being highly international. The most representative area of the modern and international  Beijing, Chaoyang District is the home to many foreign embassies, international organizations and headquarters. All foreign embassies in Beijing except the Russian Embassy, most headquarters of foreign organizations and multinational companies, as well as the Bird’s Nest, Water Cube, Sanlitun and 798 Art Zone that are popular among domestic and foreign tourists are located in the District. And CBD and Olympic functional zone as two of the six high-end industrial functional areas in Beijing are important windows to showcase construction and development of the international metropolis.  Third, constant progress in social undertakings. In recent years, Chaoyang District, adhering to people’s livelihood as an important starting point to improve its soft power and quality of development, has been increasing investment in people’s livelihood, and making substantial progress in social undertakings. And it has won honors of National Role Model Urban District in Ethical and Cultural Progress, National Demonstration Area of Public Cultural Service System, National Experimental Zone of Cultural Industry Innovation, National Experimental Zone of Comprehensive Reform of Old-Age Service Industry, National Experimental Zone of Community Management and Service Innovation, National Demonstration Area of Health Emergency, and the First National Demonstration Base of Sports Industry.
