<h2> Join the Conversation!</h2>The Hunt Institute for Engineering &amp; Humanity, the Inclusive Economy Consortium and SMU Libraries are excited to announce our next ImpactNights Summer Specials on July 14th with a screening of the documentary Bridging Utopia by Alan Govenar, followed by conversation with Hunt Institute Distinguished Fellow, and former US Ambassador Lisa Gable, moderated by VR Small, Hunt Institute Fellow and Founder &amp; Executive Director of the Veteran Women’s Enterprise Center.<blockquote>Registrants who attend will be entered in a raffle to receive an autographed copy of Lisa Gable's bestseller, Turnaround !</blockquote>Event agenda<ul><li>5:00 PM: sign-in and coffee</li><li>5:30 PM: documentary screening</li><li>6:00 PM: conversation and refreshments</li></ul>We hope you can join us! Bridging Utopia (2014, 25 minutes), by filmmaker Alan Govenar, narrated by Philippe de Montebello and James Pratt. This documentary chronicles two attempts to forge a more equitable world, both inspired by utopian and community-centric European experiments in the 19th century: La Réunion in Dallas, which failed after eighteen months and Familstere, Guise, France, successful for nearly a century.<a href="https://lisagable.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">About Lisa Gable:</a>Author of Turnaround, the Wall Street Journal and USA Today bestseller, Lisa Gable is recognized worldwide as a turnaround mastermind and innovative businesswoman.
