Tool Training: 90W Laser Cutter / LightBurn

This class will ensure that you know how to operate our 90W laser cutter in a safe and efficient way. We will go over the setup of the laser itself, the LightBurn software, and the process of cutting and engraving. This certification will include access to a collection of files for basic practice and personal use. A separate class is available and necessary for our smaller, 40W laser.

Additional Information

• This class has no pre-requisites. However, it is important that students come with basic computer skills, and it is recommended that students are familiar with vector drawing software, such as Inkscape or Adobe Illustrator.
• If you would like to take this class but are not available at the listed times OR if you are experienced with the tools covered in this training and would like to seek an alternate method of certification, please contact the instructor at riley.pettit@technocopia.org BEFORE signing up for this class.
• Successful completion of this course will result in certification of Technocopia members to independently use the tools directly covered in the course.
