Free 6-week series to help achieve your weight loss goals through healthy lifestyle habits

Genesis Community Center

Through the partnership of UF/Pasco County Extension and AdventHealth, learn how healthy lifestyle habits let you reach and maintain your weight loss goals and get FREE fruits and vegetables after attending each class. 6-week series begins Wednesday, July 20 and ends Wednesday, August , 24th from 12:30pm - 1:30pm, then produce shopping on-site from 1:30pm-2:30pm. *Please note: FREE health screenings will be conducted from 12:00pm-12:30pm on the first and last class by AdventHealth community health nurses (July 20th and August 24th). Please arrive at 12pm on the first day to participate in the screening. UPDATE AS OF 7/15: SCREENINGS WILL NOT TAKE PLACE, SO PLEASE ARRIVE AT 12:30PMIn these weekly classes, learn about nutrients, the importance of food journals, meal planning, healthy portion sizes, food labels, physical activity, and more. Each participant/household will be eligible for a $10 bag of fruits and vegetables for attending each session($60 in fresh food for attending all 6 sessions!). Pre-registration on Event Brite is required.
