Bring a friend or two, mix and mingle, ideate, collaborate, dance, make new connections and friends, and get inspired so that when you go back to work you’ve got some creative juices flowing through!JULY'S TOPICHave you ever thought about writing a book, but told yourself, "Not yet"? Or, "I'd love to, but I don't know where to start?" This workshop's for you. Author and book coach Maggie Frank-Hsu is offering a free, fun 45-minute HOTSEAT workshop, Pinpoint Your Nonfiction Book Idea.What is this? Right now, you likely have a pretty good idea of what you want your book to be about. Super! But - not enough to start writing. For that, you need to consider 3 essential questions. Format:<ul><li>5 minute intro</li><li>30 minutes of live hot seat coaching for one volunteer</li><li>10-15 minutes of audience Q&A</li></ul>What will I accomplish during the workshop?You'll be watching one volunteer in the hot seat, but even if you're not chosen as the volunteer, you also have the chance to make some real progress on your own book idea. Bring your idea, and answer the 3 essential questions in real-time, as Maggie coaches the hot seat volunteer to point out how their book idea can become an actual book.Who should attend:Come if you’re thinking about writing a book, even if you don’t plan on starting anytime soon. Why? Because people often put off their book because of a lack of clarity. When you come to this workshop, you will gain the clarity that can help you get started.How to prepare: The only thing you need to do is sign up to attend. You'll receive all the materials you need during the workshop.
