Building Energy Savings Program - Information and Workshops

The City of Madison is hosting a virtual public information meeting and workshops to develop a new Building Energy Savings Program.

The City held a virtual public information meeting on Wednesday, July 13 to introduce the purpose, aims, and scope of the new Building Energy Savings program and answer questions. The program will include energy benchmarking, periodic tune-ups, and other supporting initiatives to help commercial building owners identify opportunities to increase energy efficiency and save money. <a href="https://media.cityofmadison.com/Mediasite/Play/aea923edc4fa4a588522ec450fa3c0491d" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Click here to view a recording of that meeting. </a>As a next step, the City is hosting a series of three workshops to gather public input on specific aspects of the program's design. Workshops will be held Wednesdays at 1p beginning July 20. Each workshop will cover a different set of topics (see below).
