The NASCAR Hall of Fame opened May 11, 2010. In addition to honoring the people who impacted this beloved sport, the Hall adds interactive entertainment to the Charlotte visitor experience.Building a museum and the supporting archives from scratch is no easy task. Join the SLA Engineering Community as we hear about the NASCAR Hall of Fame&#x27;s challenges, lessons learned and plans for the future.Starting point: Meet in the lobby of the Martin Luther King Blvd entrance. From there, we will be guided by Hall staff.Tour size/audience30. This is a hard cap due to limited space in their work areas. Tour is only open to attendees of the SLA Annual Conference. (Need not be a member of the Engineering Community to attend.)Please note: This tour is for the non-public areas of the Hall. Admission to the public displays of Hall may be separate.
