The NASCAR Hall of Fame opened May 11, 2010. In addition to honoring the people who impacted this beloved sport, the Hall adds interactive entertainment to the Charlotte visitor experience.Building a museum and the supporting archives from scratch is no easy task. Join the SLA Engineering Community as we hear about the NASCAR Hall of Fame's challenges, lessons learned and plans for the future.Starting point: Meet in the lobby of the Martin Luther King Blvd entrance. From there, we will be guided by Hall staff.Tour size/audience30. This is a hard cap due to limited space in their work areas. Tour is only open to attendees of the SLA Annual Conference. (Need not be a member of the Engineering Community to attend.)Please note: This tour is for the non-public areas of the Hall. Admission to the public displays of Hall may be separate.
