All That Light: Exhibition Closing Curator’s Tour

Arts + Public Life (APL), an initiative of UChicago Arts, is a dynamic hub of exploration, expression, and exchange that centers people of color and fosters neighborhood vibrancy through the arts on the South Side of Chicago. As a neighborhood platform for arts and culture in Washington Park, APL provides residencies for Black and Brown artists and creative entrepreneurs, arts education for youth, and artist-led programming and exhibitions.

The closing event for All That Light: A Ten Year Retrospective of the Artists-in-Residence Program (2012-2022).

On the closing day of the All That Light exhibition, guests will have the opportunity to join curator Tracie D. Hall and artist Cecil McDonald (AIR 2012-13) in a final tour and conversation that will span both gallery locations. To meet and speak with Hall and McDonald, plan to start your day at the Arts Incubator, and then jump on the free UChicago shuttle to end your visit at the Logan Center for the Arts. Schedule for the special final curator tour:2:00-2:30 PM, Hall &amp; McDonald @ 301 E Garfield Blvd, Arts Incubator3:30-4:00 PM, Hall &amp; McDonald @ 915 E 60th Street, Logan CenterThe Arts Incubator will have special gallery hours for this event and will be open from 2:00pm-5:00pm.
