It’s time to Unleash Your Voice , in-person and outdoors! Join Briget for a fun and engaging workshop series that will help you explore, discover, and strengthen your folk-singing voice. She will present songs from Eastern Europe that highlight vocal technique, rhythm, ornamentation, and harmony. This class welcomes singers of all ages, levels, and genders.<a href="http://www.brigetboyle.com" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Briget Boyle</a>’s background ranges from the folk music of the Balkans to the folk music that surrounds her on the West Coast of the United States. A prolific songwriter and guitar player, gifted vocal coach, and the founder of Unleash Your Voice, Briget joined Kitka 2004 and served as the group&#x27;s Ensemble Manager through 2013. She officially rejoined Kitka in 2020 as a core ensemble member and teaching artist. Briget also sings and plays guitar with True Life Trio, a Bay Area–based group that features Kitka alums Juliana Graffagna and Leslie Bonnett. TLT delves deep into a vast array of folk music that lends itself to three-part vocal harmony. ACCESSIBILITY NOTE: This workshop will take place on an outdoor deck of a private home in the Berkeley Hills. Participants must be able to climb two flights of stairs to access the workshop space.The workshop address will be shared in your registration confirmation notice. COVID SAFETY PROTOCOLS (Subject to change based on local conditions):- All attendees must show proof of full vaccination &amp; booster. - Masking is optional. - If you are feeling ill, please stay at home! We can provide a workshop recording or a refund for classes missed due to illness.- The workshop is limited to 15 participants to allow for adequate outdoor social distancing.
