What is AviClear?
AviClear is the first and ONLY FDA cleared laser device for the treatment of mild to severe acne. It works to specifically target the sebaceous glands, resolving current acne and preventing future acne. 
How does it compare to other traditional therapies?
It doesn’t! AviClear is revolutionary because it doesn’t require labs, medications (topical or oral), no iPledge portal, no downtime, and no daily routine! AviClear only requires three, 30 minute appointments one month apart. 
Who offers AviClear?
Currently, there are less than a handful of offices that have this device in the state of Texas. Bellaire Dermatology is the only Dermatology practice within the Greater Houston area that can offer this treatment. 
What does the treatment feel like?
Clinical study patients and current Bellaire Dermatology patients have not experienced discomfort during the treatment. There is no numbing required for the treatment. Patients have only experienced slight redness that lasts about an hour. The device does come with a cooling technology that keeps patients cool and comfortable for the duration of the treatment.
Who is an Ideal candidate?
The ideal patients are adolescents and adults suffering from mild, moderate or severe acne. This is a great treatment option for patients that want a solution that is effective and a drug-free alternative to topicals, chemical peels, antibiotics and other isotretinoin treatments.
