Register now for this all day retreat featuring a combination of the following methodologies to help access the deepest recesses of your creative self expression:Gateless Writing uses brain science, ancient Zen principles, and highly-effective craft tools + resources to move you beyond the conditioned, critical mind to a place of limitless creative potential. A set of guidelines is followed to maintain an environment safe to create &amp; express where the participants are invited to share in community. Vinyasa Yoga practice linking breath with movement allowing harmony, balance and quieting of the mind. This slow gentle flow sequence will have an emphasis on heart &amp; hip openers. Restorative Yoga “restores” the body to its parasympathetic nervous system function, which, in turn, helps the body rest, heal, and restore balance. By allowing time for longer asanas (postures or poses) &amp; deeper breathing, restorative yoga helps elicit the relaxation response.Guided Meditation to drop in, connect and arrive in a state of relaxed concentration.<h2>Agenda</h2>8:45 am - Doors Open9:00 am -Welcome &amp; Introductions9:15 am - Guided Meditation / Vinyasa Yoga led by Katie Ford10:15 am - Gateless Writing Salon #1 led by Allison TurnerNoon - Group Lunch at a Restaurant within walking distance1:15 pm - Gateless Writing Salon #2 led by Allison2:45 pm - Guided Meditation / Restorative Yoga led by Katie4:00 pm - Closing<h2>Other</h2>No prior experience with writing, yoga or meditation is necessary.
