Curtis Feeny has invested in data analytics, IoT, enterprise software, data center systems, wireless infrastructure and smart grid technologies. Curtis has served on 31 boards, both public and private, and has been a managing director at Voyager Capital since 2000, when he opened the Silicon Valley office. Since 2000, he was on the board of Trammell Crow Company (TCC: NYSE), which was purchased by CB Richard Ellis (CBG: NYSE) in 2006, and has remained on the board since. In 2006, Curtis was also appointed by President George W. Bush to be a Trustee of the Presidio Trust. Curtis represents Voyager on the boards of Ayla Networks, Sensys and Vidder. Curtis is also on the board of Staples (SPLS: NYSE). Curtis has an MBA from Harvard Business School, and a BS in mechanical engineering from Texas A&M University.Before joining Voyager, Curtis was the first Executive Vice President of Stanford Management Company, helping oversee the University’s endowment from 1992 to 2000, when assets under management grew from $1.5 billion to $9 billion.

Cynthia Yang

TalkingData is largest independent data service platform & data provider in China. Prior, Cynthia worked in Detecon and Accenture, specialising in digital strategy consulting. Dr. Yang participated in the Information-Technology Supervision and Support Plan for Commercial Banks with China's Ministry of Science and Technology. During her research period, Cynthia worked with senior managers from Tencent, Netease, Bitauto, and etc. Dr.Yang received her Doctoral degree in Strategic Management from School of Business of Renmin University of China in 2010, and worked as a Postdoc in the Department of Management in Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Jake Klamka

Insight Data Science is an intensive six week post-doctoral training fellowship bridging the gap between academia and data science. Insight fellows are Data Scientists at companies include Facebook, LinkedIn, BlackRock, salesforce, JPMorgan, KhanAcademy and etc. Jake is an Internet entrepreneur with a passion for startups, technology, data and science. in Math and Physics and M.S. in Physics from University of Toronto.

Paul Baines

Paul Baines leads the technical development of the <A HREF="http://wise.io/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Wise.io</A> data science platform and is responsible for the development of <A HREF="http://wise.io/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Wise.io</A>’s inspection and imaging applications. Working in collaboration with GE business units such as Oil & Gas and Healthcare, the Wise team builds intelligent, scalable industrial systems using machine learning. Paul has extensive experience in the development, deployment and maintenance of enterprise-grade machine learning applications, as well as being a core contributor to the R&D efforts of the <A HREF="http://wise.io/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Wise.io</A> team. Paul has a PhD in Statistics from Harvard University and was an Assistant Professor of Statistics at the University of California, Davis.
