Frequently asked questions

What is 360 Hoops?

360 Hoops is a dynamic twist on traditional basketball, played in a circle where players can score on any of three baskets. How do you play 3v3v3? Like King of the Court, three teams are battling, but two compete at a time. One on offense, one on defense, and one in the queue. If you score, yo

Is this coming to Cullman Basketball Complex permanently?

Cullman Basketball Complex is an official partner of 360 Hoops! And will be the home of 360 Hoops in the area. There are currently two tournaments scheduled at Cullman B-Ball Complex this summer: June 14-15, and July 19-20. So mark your calendars! More details to come on 360 Hoops and Cullman!

How do substitutions work?

The fourth player rotates whenever your team is in the queue, following a set rotation to ensure all four players compete together.

How do you win?

In Official 360 Hoops tournaments, the game is played with a 14-minute running clock, and the team with the most points at the buzzer wins. For exhibition games like this event, the first team to reach 21 points wins.

What is Considered Out of Bounds?

Once the offense brings the ball inside the circle, everything within the circle is fair game. The defense must always start inside the circle. If the ball is deflected or exits the circle, it is considered out of bounds, and possession is lost by the last team to touch the ball.

When Possession Changes, Do You Have to Check the Ball Up?

No. 360 Hoops is designed for fast-paced action. After a stop, the defense takes the ball to the transition circle and quickly re-enters to resume play. If the team in the queue is too slow, they’ll need to pick up the pace!

How does scoring work?

After completing 3 passes, scoring is unlocked and you can score on any of the 3 baskets! Standard shots are worth 1 point, while shots made from any of the three logo decals within the circle are worth 2 points.
