Create by the Creek

Create by the Creek is a celebration of art and community in Rock Creek Park. This day-long festival will include free, outdoor workshops led by local artists, art supplies to borrow, and a meet-up for landscape painters.

Let's animate Rock Creek Park! In this workshop, artists age 7 and up will create 24-page flip books, then watch their drawings magically come to life as the pages are flipped.Please note that the rain date for this workshop will be Sunday, June 19, at the same time. This workshop is for artists ages 7 and up; children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Please register each individual who will be participating.
