This free workshop, taught by artist Bethany Lee, is part of Create of the Creek at Peirce Mill in Rock Creek Park.

Create by the Creek

Create by the Creek is a celebration of art and community in Rock Creek Park. This day-long festival will include free, outdoor workshops led by local artists, art supplies to borrow, and a meet-up for landscape painters.

Using photographs of Rock Creek Park as inspiration, participants will sketch on clay slabs and then carve out their landscapes, creating the illusion of space and depth.Please note that the rain date for this workshop will be Sunday, June 19, at the same time. This workshop is intended for participants ages 16 and up.
