Santa Cruz, CA area Novasutras events

Santa Cruz area events include Shinrin-Yoku practice and Climate, Land & Water outdoor meditation every month. Other (mostly outdoor) events may also come up.

<h3>This is a public celebration, to raise our spirits, raise awareness, and raise the vibration in these troubled times. We will begin by decorating our space: please bring seasonal flowers and foliage, or other natural objects to welcome in the beauty of Summer in Santa Cruz. Our celebration will include <a href="https://novasutras.org/2020/01/22/acknowledging-land-and-indigenous-peoples/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Land Acknowledgement</a>, <a href="https://novasutras.org/2018/01/05/calling-the-corners-a-novasutras-meditation-practice/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Calling the Corners</a> and <a href="https://bit.ly/NovasutrasSongs" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">songs</a>. We will offer other activities that may include meditation, plus poems, chants, and other songs or prayers brought by participants.</h3><h3>All are welcome!</h3>

If you are driving, please ARRIVE EARLY to find parking and get settled in. We will gather on the lawn near the Lighthouse — look for the Novasutras signs.

Michelle Merrill, Ph.D, founded <a href="https://novasutras.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Novasutras</a> as an exploration of how we can connect with, learn from, and teach each other to co-create a more regenerative, resilient culture.
