Our organization’s mission is “Help those who have a desire for change.” Our purpose is to educate the communities in which we interact by relaying information on social and emotional learning. National Minority Mental Health Awareness Month, is observed each July to bring awareness to the unique struggles that racial and ethnic minority communities face in the United States. This observance is supported by the U.S. Department of Health &amp; Human Services and is dedicated to addressing the stigma about mental health among racial and ethnic minority populations.* The repair my life forum will consist of 2 State certified LPCs &amp; professional entrepreneurs in the field of financial literacy, health and wellness, education, spirituality, relationship, and much more.If you&#x27;re looking to propel your life in a forward-moving direction by leveraging the knowledge you already possess, please come out to the Repair My Life Forum on July 23rd, 2022. If you are wondering what a life strategist is; consider me an accountability partner with a keen sense of critical thinking skills. I created Grind the GRIT because I saw a need in the community in which I live. The need was the lack of social-emotional learning. Grind the GRIT advocates for positive change by way of education of self and how we interact with others. Filling this gap will ensure a more positive life for everyone connected to you.The Repair My Life Forum can be in-person or online.Attend and Grow on Saturday, July 23rd from 10 am to 2:00 pm at The Repair My Life Forum. This event has fascinating speakers, healthy and delicious food and drink options, and more. The organizer of the event, Ashley T. Dirks M.Ed. said, “The Repair My Life Forum” is about building a relationship with yourself, and others and gaining knowledge to make a positive impact in the community in which you live.*This event will have networking opportunities that can last through time. Having different genders and generations in the same building will help us move forward to engage in more positive experiences within our respective lives. The mission is to improve individual lives and their families for stronger communities. We are a better community when the majority of Oklahoma City has a sense of belonging by bonding which is important to healthy living. Making positive connections at this event will allow individuals they support to become more empowered to make a greater impact on those connected to them. Attendees will be inspired by the speakers, panel discussions, and great offers for personal and professional development.*The event will start with Speaker/ Author Ramona Y. Simmons. Ramona is a native Oklahoman. She lives to serve and believes in the power of God. Her passion is helping others to grow in grace and knowing that your past does not define you. She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. for over 25 years. Ramona is an instructor in the District and State Congress of Christian Education. She also teaches an online Bible Study. Winning in God&#x27;s Word, In 2018 she wrote For Every Mountain: Learning How to Thrive In the Valley. along with an 8-week Companion Study Guide. During this pandemic she has written another book, Pardon My Mess: God Is Not Through With Me Yet. In 2019 Ramona accepted her call to preach God&#x27;s Word. Her life verse is Acts 20:24, &quot;But I do not account my life of any value nor as precious to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God. &quot;*We are better together when our intentions are positive and impactful. As an Oklahoman native, Ashley is proud of the growth not only in OKC but the state as a whole. The current leadership of our state has proven to be for the people now it is time for the people to help demonstrate why our leaders work tirelessly to make &quot;This a great state!&quot; Mayor David Holt, City Council Woman Nikki Nice, House Rep.
