And do regular people have any say in the process? Join Billy Penn at Parks on Tap at the Fairmount Water Works to find out. We&#x27;re partnering with good government group Better Civics and the Office of the City Controller to host a happy hour about the municipal budget — the clearest expression of a city&#x27;s priorities — featuring:- Moderator Jordan Levy, Billy Penn - Rebecca Rhynhart, Philadelphia City Controller- Malika Rahman, Community College of Philadelphia- Jen Devor, Better Civics

After a half-hour of mingling, Jordan will introduce the panelists, who will give a 5-10 minute presentation, after which we’ll have a Q&amp;A session. Expect to hear inside info on how budget negotiations work, and real-life tips on how to make your voice heard during the process.This event is free, but advance RSVP is required. Parks on Tap offers a family-friendly environment, with food and drink available for purchase.
