Join the Social Marketing Association of North America (SMANA) and PCI Media Impact on 10/10/17 at 6:00 pm for an evening of networking with fellow social marketers and behavior change colleagues. 
 
This event is free and open to all. We welcome change agents from all sectors – social marketers, behavioral scientists and economists, conservation psychologists, environmental educators, behavior change communicators, entertainment educators, health communicators, design thinkers and the list goes on. If you are working to improve your community or a societal issue - join us! 
The evening program will feature a presentation about PCI Media Impact's program called Ouro Negro (Black Gold) that was implemented in partnership with UNICEF Mozambique. The social and behavior change communication program uses social and mass media platforms to reach multiple target audiences. The program aims to improve maternal and child health, nutrition, gender equality and to prevent communicable disease such as HIV and Malaria. The focus of the night's short presentation will be the answer to the question "What is in it for the target audience, when engaging in the promoted behaviors?". We will discuss how to identify and tap into the motivations that drive Mozambican adolescents, women and men at reproductive age.
