We cordially invite you to the 34th Annual Black Graduation formally known as our Celebration of Black Excellence. Our theme in honor of the Class of 2024 is 24K Magic. It will be hosted in the Berkeley Community Theater on Saturday, June 1st at 2:00PM. Please consider making a donation to the department. Donations go to subsidize the cost of stoles, snacks for the graduates, cake & punch for Black Grad, and programming for the African American Studies Department. I heard about the Black Grad Stoles, how can we get them?

Please purchase the stoles at the BHS Student store. Students will receive their stole on stage. You can purchase them at https://berkeley.myschoolcentral.com

I cannot afford the stoles right now, what can we do?

Please email bhsafamstudies@berkeley.net to request financial support for one.

I am a senior, is there a rehearsal or anywhere to get more information?

Yes! Seniors need to fill out this form with their school ID in order to attend. You will need to visit H102A during 7th period, 3:45 - 4:30, on May 14th or May 16th, for more information. The form is https://tinyurl.com/BlackGrad2k24
