Late Night @ the MAH is back! Join us for another after hours celebration of art, activism, and community! This Late Night event features our current exhibition,<a href="https://www.santacruzmah.org/exhibitions/freak-power" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"> Freak Power </a>with Hunter S. Thompson plus a screening of the documentary, <a href="https://www.freakpower.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Freak Power: The Ballot or the Bomb</a>. Guests will also enjoy a special <a href="https://guides.library.ucsc.edu/gratefuldeadarchive" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Grateful Dead Archive</a> pop up display courtesy of UCSC Special Collections and a Neal Cassady Archive display. <a href="https://guides.library.ucsc.edu/gratefuldeadarchive" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"></a>We can&#x27;t have a counter culture revival without a Grateful Dead tribute so the local band Rosebud will get us grooving into the night.Feel free to come in your favorite counter culture attire, inspired by Hunter S Thompson or The Grateful Dead for a chance to win Prizes and be featured on MAH social media!The Night’s Schedule: 7pm: Doors open--check out the current exhibitions, including Freak Power &amp; Strange Weather. 7:30pm: Screening of the documentary, Freak Power: The Ballot or the Bomb 9pm: Live Music with Grateful Dead Cover Band Rosebud.Throughout the Night: Grateful Dead Archives &amp; Neal Cassady Archive pop up displays and gallery viewing.This event has limited capacity, so get your tickets now!
