Children will assemble Back to School Supply Kits and make cheer cards for families supported by CMHA.

Who this anywhere service project is for: Ages 4 - 12.Not sure if this project is the right fit for your kids? Email us with questions at programs@seedsofcaring.org What you'll be doing: Children will learn how you're never too young to make difference. Then helping hands will assemble 5+ Back to School Supply Kits and make cheer cards for families supported by <a href="https://cmhanet.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Columbus Metropolitan Housing Authority</a>. When you'll be doing it:This anywhere service project can be done at home, school, or wherever you are! This project is on-going. Families and groups may participate anytime until the project ends on August 1st. Donations may be contact-free, porch-dropped from 9am - 7pm July 29-31 at a Seeds of Caring volunteer's home (Lewis Center, Upper Arlington) at addresses provided in the service packet. Or drop donations August 1st at the Seeds of Caring home office in Worthington.How it all works:Once you have completed registration, you will receive a confirmation email from Eventbrite with a link to your service packet. This packet includes project instructions, guided discussions and more. If for some reason you cannot access this file, please email programs@seedsofcaring.org for assistance.The meaning-making: Engaging children’s hearts and minds before getting their hands active with service is a vital step in raising caring, compassionate humans. In every Seeds of Caring service packet, you'll find quick, easy-to-use guides to support you in leading meaning-making conversations! This project's guided discussion focuses on service and poverty. Approximate Cost: $25 for 5 kits including pencils, crayons, markers, etc. (full packing list is included in the service packet). For the cheer card use craft supplies on hand or the printable template provided in the service packet.Why you'll be invited to donate:Every time we're able to design, coordinate, and offer an opportunity for kids to give back, it's with the help of supporters like you.
