The first and largest medical programme in Cyprus was formed in collaboration with St George’s, University of London. Today, the Medical School attracts over 500 students from around the world. Με ιδιαίτερη χαρά σας ενημερώνουμε ότι η Σχολή Επιστημών Αγωγής του Πανεπιστημίου Λευκωσίας σε συνεργασία με την Έδρα UNESCO και τον Δήμο Ηρακλείου διοργανώνουν εκπαιδευτικό σεμινάριο με τίτλο:
 ΣΥΓΧΡΟΝΕΣ ΕΚΠΑΙΔΕΥΤΙΚΕΣ ΚΑΙΝΟΤΟΜΙΕΣ
Η δουλειά των εκπαιδευτικών βρίσκεται κάτω από συνεχή και γρήγορη αλλαγή. Οι εκπαιδευτικοί αντιμετωπίζουν ατέλειωτες αλλαγές στην πολιτική, στις συνθήκες εργασίας, στις πιέσεις και προσδοκίες της κοινότητας, στη σύνθεση του μαθητικού πληθυσμού, στις ηγεσίες των τοπικών εκπαιδευτικών επιτροπών, στις συνθήκες της κοινωνίας καθώς επίσης και στις δικές τους ζωές και στην καριέρα τους. Κέντρο της όποιας εκπαιδευτικής αλλαγής και καινοτομίας είναι οι εκπαιδευτικοί. Ο κυριότερος λόγος που οι περισσότερες προσπάθειες εκπαιδευτικών μεταρρυθμίσεων αποτυγχάνουν έγκειται στο ότι δεν κατανοείται το βάθος και η πολυπλοκότητα της φύσης της διδασκαλίας. Η διδασκαλία η οποία είναι αφιερωμένη στην αλλαγή των ζωών, των ανθρώπων και στη δημιουργία των μελλοντικών γενιών, προσεγγίζεται σε ένα μεγάλο βαθμό μονοδιάστατα ως ένα σύνολο δεξιοτήτων, πεποιθήσεων και συμπεριφορών που μπορεί και πρέπει να αλλάξουν. Έτσι, αποτυγχάνουν να κατανοήσουν τη βοήθεια που χρειάζονται οι εκπαιδευτικοί για να αλλάξουν. Σκοπός του σεμιναρίου είναι η κατανόηση της ιδέας για την αποτελεσματική εφαρμογή καινοτομιών στην εκπαίδευση και η εισαγωγή στους τρόπους που επηρεάζουν την καθημερινή πρακτική των εκπαιδευτικών στην τάξη.
Το σεμινάριο θα πραγματοποιηθεί στην Κρήτη το Σάββατο 17 Ιουνίου 2017από τις 10:00 μέχρι τις 14:00
στην αίθουσα "Μανώλη Καρέλλη" (πρώην Ανδρόγεω) του Δήμου Ηρακλείου
και θα είναι ανοικτό για το κοινό.
