Charlotte Street introduces Curating the Here and Now, a 4-part series featuring exceptional curatorial voices in the Midwest.

As a part of Curating the Here and Now, selected curators will visit Kansas City to speak about their recent exhibitions and curatorial practice.Join us on Saturday, June 4 from 4-5pm at the CSF Library to hear from Nneoma Ilogu, the Curator-in-Residence at the Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts in Omaha, NE. Prior to her role at the Bemis, Ilogu served as Assistant Curator and Manager of Exhibitions and Programs at SMO Contemporary Art in Lagos, Nigeria. Ilogu’s curatorial focus aims to craft sensory experiences that not only seek to inspire change but breach life&#x27;s more challenging conversations through art. For this public program, Ilogu will speak about her journey becoming a curator, using specific examples of recent curatorial projects.Masks required indoors.
