In an intense and joyful weekend, identify the fundamental sensations and pathways that will allow you to deepen your performance work. If you have studied Yat Malmgren’s work, this will give you a different perspective. If you are new to the work, this is the first step!Taught by Tom Bentley-Fisher (YBC Artistic Director) and members of the YBC Teaching Team.Experience and take away the tools of:The Swings – Physical exercises to free the inner and outer lives of the performer.The Inner Participations - Psychophysical sensations developed by Rudolf Laban that add specificity to any action or activity.Explore the importance of coming from a place of deep truth and imagination through: Identifying the inner movement of Sensing, Thinking, Intuiting, and Feeling Jung’s psychological types.Experiencing the activation of Intending, Attending, Deciding, and Adapting.Developing the manifestation of these energies through Weight, Space, Time, and Flow.Engaging with The Spheres – Psychophysical exercises that uncover the energies within and without. Find and trust your inner essence and begin to unfold that energy with confidence.At YBC we are expanding into the mystery of ourselves, opening to the full array of who we are. Join us to uncover your own hidden depths in an intense and fruitful weekend journey! In Person - Covid protocols will be observed - Participants must show proof of vaccinationWorkshop Schedule is Friday: 6pm - 9pm, Saturday and Sunday 10am - 5pm
