If you’ve walked along Brighton &amp; Hove seafront, you will have, most likely passed the Brighton &amp; Hove Petanque club. Over the last few years, it&#x27;s become quite popular and if you stroll past over a sunny weekend, you’ll see what we mean. We&#x27;re offering fun and friendly Petanque coaching that will be unlike any other experience. Whether you&#x27;re a group of friends, work colleagues, planning a party or just want a fun day out, we&#x27;re confident you will love it. This is an inclusive activity and a way to bring people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds together. CoachingThe event is run by one of our regulars Rohan Bedford, a qualified England coach who also plays/competes at county and national level. He is passionate in sharing techniques, tactics and the pleasure of playing such a great game.£25 ppSession lasts for 2 hours Bookings will require a minimum of 4 people per session / maximum booking of 16 people per session. Coaching can be adapted for wheelchair users and other specific needs. If you have any questions, specific requirements or would like to organise a larger group booking, please do get in touch: petanquecoaching@gmail.comWhat to expectThe first hour will include an introduction to petanque by Rohan. You will be taught some basic throwing techniques and obtain a good understanding of the game rules. You will then practice techniques and split into teams, ultimately then leading into a game.In the second hour of your booking, you will then have free range to continue to play using the equipment provided. Maybe a rematch, or split into different teams. Rohan will be there to help if you need any guidance.As part of your booking, you will be given a set of boules each that you can use for the duration of your session. Rohan will be happy to advise on which boules might be right for you if you are planning to buy your own set.What if I am not very athletic?Don&#x27;t worry, as long as you can throw a ball you are welcome to play. And you might play better than you imagine!Do I have to know anything before I arrive?No, not at all. We will be explaining everything within the session.How long does a game of petanque last?A full game usually takes around 30-35 minutes.Can we bring food?Yes. We&#x27;ve even had previous groups order deliveroo to the club :) <blockquote>&quot;We played pétanque for our work social and it was so much fun.
