On May 22, 2010, a programmer named Laszlo Hanyecz purchased two large Papa John’s pizzas for 10,000 bitcoins, worth about $38 at the time ($300 million today). It is widely believed to be the first purchase of a product with bitcoin, and definitely the most meme-able. Bring your friends, make new friends, and take a moment to enjoy a bit of pizza with us.<ul><li>We&#x27;ll be setting up inside, so the event is ON despite any extreme heat or rainy weather. </li><li>FREE Pizzas should be hitting the table around 2:20pm until we run out, and are first-come, first-served.
