<p>Ms. Shafia Zaloom has been the consent education provider this year for Berkeley High staff and students, and we want to share her expertise with parents, too! Please join us for a courageous conversation on how to talk to your teen about sex and consent. Ms. Shafia Zaloom's presentation will cover: the social lives and landscape of teenagers, what's changed since we were adolescents, the cultural performative sex narrative and how to create a counter narrative that is grounded in authentic connection, mutual respect, care and dignity. Parents will come away with concrete language and strategies as well as additional resources for engaging in these important conversations. </p><p></p>
