This training will teach parents to effectively assess an organization’s ability to minimize the risk of sexual abuse within their program.

Over 95% of child sexual abuse happens at the hands of someone the child knows and trusts, who they have a relationship with, so working or volunteering for a youth-serving organization is the best way for sexual abusers to gain repeated access to children, allowing them to cultivate those relationships. So youth-serving organization leaders must meet this threat with a thorough understanding of the problem and implementation of prevention best practices.
