The 2017 NATSA Annual Meeting Evening Special Roundtable: US-Taiwan-China Relations in the Trump Era (open to everyone!)
This event offers viewpoints from American and Taiwanese scholars and political practitioners, discussing the dynamics of the Asian international relations in the Trump Era. In particular, since Mr.Trump accepted the congratulatory phone call from the President of Taiwan, Tsai Ing-wen, the US-Taiwan-China relations have become one of the focal points in the US foreign policy. Furthermore, President Trump doubted some long-lasting practices, including the One-China policy and partnerships with allies. What have been changed in Asian politics, and what (if any) changed Trump's positions? 
In this roundtable, each presenter will give a short presentation regarding their field of research, followed by Q&A --session. Please come to join the discussion on Asian politics in the Trump era!
