Join us from June 9th to June 23rd, 2022 for the 25th Anniversary of NQAF with a lineup of amazing events and workshops across the Bay in-person and virtually worldwide.

‘Nurture The Land, Not The Empire’ is an immersive ceremony and cross-cultural prophecy that offers a vision into what the world would look like when ancestral connection, queer kinship with the more-than-human, and right relations bridging diasporic peoples and Indigenous relatives are at the center. Seeing multiple forms of creativity as spellwork, we will use these magics to transform what is possible. Through visual art, songs, performance, and storytelling, this collective experience is a participatory portal into acknowledging how Queerness acknowledges the wounds of the world around us.Featuring performances/speaking by Amal Amer, the Honeypot Collective, Hugo De La Lune, Robert Williamson, and Xochitl Flores~Free food generously donated by <a href="https://www.solfoodrestaurant.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Sol Food</a> and water will be provided. NOTAFLOF (no one turned away for lack of funds)! If you are unable to book a free ticket online, show up and we will honor your presence no matter if you can afford it or not. 70% of all ticket sales (online and at the door) will go towards offsetting artist fees and the cost of producing this gathering. Co-Presenter Bios:Orion Camero is a Filipinx artist/cultural organizer who focuses on intersectional justice. Their work reimagines the world around us by illustrating oppression and liberation, through image and song. Victoria Montano is a Two-Spirit, Yoeme, Mexikah, ​​interdisciplinary artist from Oakland. They are a Land Steward.
