Invitation to the Japanese origins of Reiki, and why they are an exquisite medicine for today's challenges.

On the first Wednesday of every month, we offer a Free Community Class on rotating topics related to the Japanese origins of Reiki, and integration of the system of Reiki into our modern lives.

I had so many revelations in that space...&quot; ~Sabina Morgan, Reiki studentThree years into my Reiki practice and education, I almost gave it all up.  I’d taken every class I could find, had practiced for years with my teacher, and yet the spiritual void remained.  There was a deeper medicine calling to be accessed, but I just could not find the path to it.Until the day that I did… ~Have you already received Reiki training, and yet still feel some form of spiritual void, as if there is a deep and rich groundwater your roots have not yet reached? ~Or perhaps you feel called to learn the system of Reiki, and seek a training that emphasizes trauma-informed care and connection to the Japanese cultural origins of Reiki?~ It could be that you feel frustrated with the heavy emphasis on Reiki as a practice for healing others, and are longing for a practice that centers being a more whole, connected, and compassionate person in your day-to-day life, and allows healing for others to flow from that focus.Let’s explore this path together! In this 90-minute free workshop, you will:~Learn why the 120-year-old system of Reiki actually provides an exquisite antidote to dis-eases that plague us in these modern times, such as feelings of isolation, stress &amp; anxiety, spiritual disconnection and estrangement from nature;~Increase your capacity to address and heal from the stresses and pains of life through an accessible, simple, and deeply empowering practice, rooted in the long-existing Japanese spiritual traditions that are the origins of Reiki;~Begin a relationship with the Reiki Precepts and to learn how to live them in your daily life to release attachment to fear and anger, and source a deep well of gratitude, compassion and self-knowledge;~Receive an introduction to what it means to be trauma-informed when you choose to share Reiki with others, and to ground into the Japanese roots of the system as a western practitioner.You will also:~Receive written and video instruction for the meditation practice we’ll experience in the workshop, one that forms the foundation of the system of Reiki;~Learn about HeartScapes’ Reiki certification programs and special topics classes, and be invited to join a special pilot program launching in Summer 2022Japanese cosmology reminds us of our inherent divine nature as part of the Web of Life: Deeply rooted into the Earth; reaching wide into the vastness around and inside us; and with a heart resourced and connected to all of Life. Through the system of Reiki, as practiced from these origins, we embody being Rooted, Reaching and Connected, thereby remembering the wholeness of our True Self, a healed state.We invite you to come play with us on this path.Format: This class will be held over Zoom.  Can’t make it in person?  No worries, a recording will be provided to all who register. This workshop is part of our Free Community Class series, offered on rotating topics the first Wednesday of every month.
