Heather Houston is a Santa Cruz-based song leader, choral director, recording artist, and vocal empowerment coach with over 30 years of experience in uplifting hearts and building community through the power of song. Founder of the Yala Lati Women’s Choir and creator of the Sisters in Harmony Retreats, Heather leads transformative singing experiences both in person and online, including at venues like Esalen, Sivananda Bahamas, and 1440 Multiversity. Her music, rooted in themes of healing, unity, and connection with nature, is sung by communities worldwide and can be found in her online song library and on all major streaming platforms.

<h3>Sisters in Harmony Santa Cruz is back! </h3><p>We will be outdoors in a freinds beautiful backyard. </p><p>Exact address given after registration. </p><p></p><h3>About the Six Week Summer Series:</h3><ul><li>Wednesdays, June 15th - July 20th</li><li>4:00 - 5:30 pm </li><li>Pre-registration required. We have space for 25 women. </li><li>Partial and Full Scholarships available. Please inquire at the intro night.</li></ul><ul><li>Exact address given after registration. </li></ul><h3></h3><h3>About the Class and Series: </h3><ul><li>Experience the power of women’s voices rising in harmony. </li><li>Free your voice, attune your ear, harmonize, improvise, and feel the joy in your heart!</li><li>Discover the magic of timeless, heart-opening chants and songs from diverse traditions and artists that inspire a deeper connection to ourselves, each other, the planet, and the spirit of Life that moves through us all.</li><li>Classes are held in an easy to follow, call and repeat style. We use the oral tradition of singing. No need to read sheet music. </li><li>Each week builds upon the last, refining our blend and harmonies and deepening our heart connection with the songs and with each other.</li><li>You will learn basic vocal technique, how to trust your own voice, and how to harmonize and blend with the group.</li><li> You will be invited to sing your prayers, intentions, griefs, gratitudes, and praises. </li><li>The weaving of vocal vibration, deep intention, and radiant joy, shared by a sacred community of women is the most powerful form of prayer we know to manifest our dreams and transform our lives!</li><li>Partial scholarships and trades are availble for those who may need that.</li></ul><p></p><h3>What Else:</h3><ul><li>Partial scholarships and trades are availble for those who may need that. </li><li>We will be sitting in chairs and on cushions, AND be standing and dancing. </li><li>Please wear comfortable clothing that you can move around in.</li><li>Please bring a water bottle</li><li>Please bring and item for the altar that represents an area of your life that needs some holding.
