**Online ticket sales close one hour before the performance -- tickets are also available at the door**An apocryphal story recounts that when conductor Nikolai Danilin first heard Sergei Rachmaninoff play the score for his All-Night Vigil (‘Vespers’), Danilin said “Where am I to get such basses? They are as rare as Asparagus at Christmas!&quot; In the fall of 2019, Skylark presented the greatest masterwork of a cappella music as it had never been heard before: a performance of the finest professional vocalists in the United States anchored by world-renowned basses joining forces for the first time ever. After what was described by many Skylarks as their most profound concert experience ever, we vowed to re-visit the work again soon. Join us again in June 2022 for an encore performance, this time working from a new edition of the score prepared by Artistic Director Matthew Guard and Skylark Soprano Fotina Naumenko.Join us for a pre-concert talk at 2:15PM. ​A portion of all ticket sales will benefit Ukrainian refugees.​​COVID-19 PROTOCOLSAs we return to live performances, our top priority is the safety of our community, as well as our audiences, performers and staff.MASKSAll patrons and staff will be required to wear masks. Masks must cover the nose and mouth and must be worn during the duration of the performance. Depending on local guidelines and virus prevalence, some or all Skylark artists may also be masked for performances. If Skylark chooses to perform unmasked, the group will ensure at least 10 feet of distance from the first row of the audience.REDUCED CAPACITYTo maintain safe distancing, we will be limiting capacity in many of our smaller venues. Capacity limits for each concert will be made based on local virus prevalence and public health guidance nearer to the time of each performance.CONCERT VIDEOSSkylark will make a concert video of each concert available online for subscribers or ticket buyers who choose not to attend in person. The online release date is expected to be 7-14 days after the live performance. Skylark will continue to closely monitor local, state and federal policies regarding indoor activities, and will plan our safety protocols accordingly. Specific health and safety protocols are subject to change and will be clearly communicated to ticket holders in advance of performances.***Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds on purchased tickets***
