Van harte uitgenodigd voor de opening van de tentoonstelling "YELLOW" georganiseerd door The Nomadic Art Gallery.

Deze tentoonstelling brengt drie veelgeprezen kunstenaars, Karel Appel (NL, 1921-2006), Pierre Alechinsky (BE , 1927) en Philip Trusttum (NZ,1941) samen met twee opkomende kunstenaars, Merijn Verhelst (BE, 1990) en Oliver Cain (NZ, 1996).

Alle kunstenaars delen de neiging om felle kleuren te gebruiken en kunnen formeel in verband worden gebracht met de COBRA- en neo-expressionisme beweging. In alle getoonde werken wordt geel, in al zijn facetten, gebruikt. De uitstraling van de kleur draagt de belofte van een positieve toekomst in zich, geeft energie en stimuleert creatieve kruisbestuiving. Het is de vrolijkste van alle kleuren.

Join us for the opening of the exhibition "YELLOW" organised by The Nomadic Art Gallery.

This exhibition brings together three highly acclaimed artists, Karel Appel (NL, 1921-2006), Pierre Alechinsky (BE , 1927) and Philip Trusttum (NZ,1941) with two emerging artists, Merijn Verhelst (BE, 1990) and Oliver Cain (NZ, 1996).

All artists share the tendency to use bold colors and can be formally connected to the COBRA and Neo-expressionism movement. In all works on display yellow, in all its facets, is used. The radiancy of the colour carry the promise of a positive future, it instills energy and sparks creative cross-communication. It is the happiest of colours.
