讲座背景：
神经网络技术起源于上世纪50，60年代，拥有输入层和感知层。到了上个世纪的八十年代，多层感知机的发明解决了之前无法模拟亦或逻辑的缺陷，同时更多的层数也让网络能够刻画现实中的复杂情形。2006年， Hilton利用训练的方法缓解了局部最优解问题，讲隐含层推动到了7层，神经网络真正意义上有了“深度”，从此揭开了深度学习的热潮。
 
讲座内容：
这期讲座由湾区著名数学笑星任力伟博士主讲。任博士将从数学的角度由浅入深地笑谈深度神经网络的基本原理。讲座之后，吃瓜群众基本上可以明白以下几个问题。深度神经网络是什么？ 它是如何工作的？它为什么行之有效？  具体有哪些实用神经网络？ 目前这个领域存在那些挑战？都有哪些成功的应用？人生的意义是什么？
