The Mexican Cultural Institute of Washington, D.C. is committed to enriching the relationship between Mexico and the United States by sharing Mexico's vibrant cultural past and present with the local community. Since its establishment in 1990, the Institute has succeeded in presenting diverse, ongoing cultural programs and has become a thriving artistic center in the heart of Washington. Over the past two decades, the Institute has developed cultural programming in partnership with many institutions in the nation's capital including the Smithsonian Institution, the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, the National Gallery of Art, the Library of Congress, among others.

Come and enjoy this Mexican production. Pop corn is on us (until supplies last).The Way Home follows the journey of Ricardo, a successful business executive living in New York who left Puebla and never returned. The sudden death of the grandfather who raised him requires him to return right in the middle of trying to solve where to locate his company’s new international manufacturing and distribution center. 
Turning over the project to his team, Ricardo returns to Puebla to honor his grandfather’s dying wish: to scatter his ashes in many of the places they visited during Ricardo&#x27;s childhood. During this journey, Ricardo visits many touristic, cultural, and productive locations, and he reconnects with his childhood friends. He also discovers he must earn the trust of his first love (the successful, beautiful, and strong Paulina) before she will allow him in her life again. As he works through all of this he rediscovers the culture he left behind when he moved to the US and learns the importance of balancing all parts of life to achieve a successful, fulfilling life.
