Date Night: Bar Cicotti Dinner & Curator Tour of Many Wests

The Whatcom Museum is the City of Bellingham's local art and history museum. The Museum is a non-profit organization operated jointly by the Whatcom Museum Foundation and the City of Bellingham, and provides innovative and interactive educational programs and exhibitions about art, nature, and Northwest history. The Museum seeks to stimulate curiosity about our changing cultural, natural and historical landscapes, for the youngest to the oldest minds, and to inspire preservation of and creative contributions to our region and beyond.The Museum's collection contains more than 200,000 artifacts and art works of regional importance, including a vast photographic archive. The Whatcom Museum is accredited nationally by the American Alliance of Museums and is a Smithsonian Institution Affiliate, and a member of the American Association for State and Local History.

Make it a "date night" with a special partner, friends, or family! Enjoy a pre-fixe 3-course Italian dinner and glass of wine at <a href="https://www.barcicotti.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Bar Cicotti</a> inside the Lightcatcher building. Chef Jonathan Cicotti creates recipes rooted in his Italian family’s traditions from Cento in Northern Italy.After a tasty dinner, join Museum Curator of Art Amy Chaloupka in the Lightcatcher lobby to begin a tour of the exhibition <a href="https://www.whatcommuseum.org/exhibition/many-wests/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Many Wests: Artists Shape an American Idea</a>. Chaloupka, who organized this exhibition in collaboration with the Smithsonian American Art Museum and three other art museums from the West will share insights on specific artworks, artists, and themes in the show. Dinner and tours are limited to 20 people. Dinner is served 5:30-6:50pm followed by the tour from 7-8pm.
