We are very excited to announce the second Aviation Fuel Handling Training Symposium with speakers from throughout the industry!
We were blown away by the turnout at our first Symposium in Miami in March, 2017 so we have planned for the second Symposium to be even bigger and better. We have extended the schedule to take place over two and a half days, and we have made room for many more attendees. In order to offer the best possible experience to our attendees, we are now charging a $100 admission fee for the entire event. Please note that the admission fee includes all of your meals - 3 breakfasts, 3 morning breaks, 2 lunches, 2 afternoon breaks, and 2 dinners with wine and beer.

<H3 CLASS="paragraph">Refunds</H3>
Please contact the event coordinator regarding any refund requests. The 30 day window for full refunds has now closed, and refunds will be processed on a case-by-case basis. International attendees who requested a Letter of Invitation are still eligible for a full refund if their travel visa is denied.
 
<H3 CLASS="paragraph">About the Symposium</H3>
As an attendee, you will participate in a multi-disciplinary technical training and educational symposium aimed at providing line and QC supervisors with advanced insight into fuel handling. There will also be discussion of the standards from SAE, ASTM, IATA and EI, as they influence fuel operations and quality.  Discussions will include the latest in technical automation and how it can be incorporated into local fuel quality plans, as well as how each step in the fuel handling 'chain' operates and what they contribute to the fuels community with updates to organizational publications. Participants from both the government and commercial sector will participate in these discussions. Those already committed include: Gammon Technical Products. Our goal is for attendees to gain a deeper understanding of the supply chain from refinery to wingtip and how technology advancements contribute to overall fuel quality. and to meet the people who write this standards. You will gain knowledge from and make connections with industry experts on all aspects of aviation fuel handling. More people need to know about organizations like SAE, ASTM, IATA and EI. This is a multi-disciplinary training operation, not a meeting or conference.

All guests are responsible for handling their own accommodations. The Sheraton has offered us a group rate of $169.00/night for a single occupancy room - BUT THIS RATE HAS NOW EXPIRED. You can still book rooms at the regular rate.

There are many other hotels within walking distance if you'd prefer to stay elsewhere or the hotel runs out of space. There are also bus stops and car rental agencies all along West Century Boulevard if anyone traveling with you would like to explore Los Angeles while you're attending meetings.

If you are traveling to the Symposium from abroad and need to be invited to the United States in order to acquire a travel visa, please let us know as soon as possible so we can send you a letter of invitation.
