旧金山大学中国学生学者联谊会

<P>新世纪以来，数以万计的大学生利用寒暑假时间到边疆，到基层，到偏僻山区的一所所中小学支教，给那里的留守儿童点燃梦想、播种理想。这是我们组织并发起此次支教活动的目的所在。在这个功利的社会，我们做什么事情都要被问起一句意义。短期支教，现在社会上备受非议。因为很多人看来，短时间的支教活动并不能给贫困学生带来什么，也并不能让志愿者锻炼到什么。但是，我们不这样认为。我们深信，通过我们整个团队的努力，我们能够向贫困地区里的孩子们传达<STRONG>“自强不息”“行胜于言”“追求卓越”</STRONG>的概念，在他们小小的心灵深处播撒下认真学习、走出大山、脱离贫困的种子。我们将组建一支由留学生组成的团队，留学生团队将带给孩子们更多的新理念、新知识、新方法，更好的提高孩子的综合素养。</P>
