Join us to celebrate the 2022 growing season and the local farmers that make it possible. In collaboration with Barrel and Beam and the Downtown Farmer’s Market, the Delft Bistro is excited to bring you the Shared Ground Social. Enjoy an evening of local food, drink, and music. Meet your farmers and learn more about the local food community.Marquette-area farmers, this event is to celebrate you! Event tickets are free for farmers. Farms include Case Country Farm, Tonella Farms, and more TBA</li><li>Live local music by Joe Sayler and Strung Together</li></ul>Your ticket purchase will fund...<ul><li>Free entry to this event for local farmers, so they can celebrate and eat at no extra cost</li><li>Partridge Creek Farm bringing back the Power of Produce youth program to the 2022 Downtown Marquette Farmers Market:</li></ul>"Power of Produce empowers children ages five through twelve to make healthy food choices by offering educational activities, cooking demonstrations, and food sampling, in addition to providing each child with at least two dollars in market currency to spend on fresh produce. This incentive provides an effective way for children to engage in the local food system through conversations with farmers, buying local, and understanding the importance of healthy food choices."
