Self Help Graphics &amp; Art and Prospering Backyards present Soil Time: Soil to Stomach - Growing and Foraging Food as part of our new Soil Time program, taking place next on Saturday, May 7th from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. All materials will provided. Register today! What does it take to get your food on your plate? Grab a bite from local caterers and explore growing our own food, local foraging, and creating healthy and delicious meals in the process. This series continues with Soil in Crisis: Cultivating Hope For Our Future on June 4 and Rooted: Our Cultural Connection to Soil on July 2. Soil Time and Prospering Backyards is led by Los Angeles-based artist Maru Garcia with Self Help Graphics &amp; Art in partnership with the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles and the Department of Cultural Affairs, City of Los Angeles. This series is part of the Getty Foundation&#x27;s Pacific Standard Time Initiative: ArtXScience preliminary programming. #SoilTime #ProsperingBackyards++++++Note COVID Visitor Requirements: All visitors must wear a mask at all times, including vaccinated guests. In accordance with the City of Los Angeles municipal code, Self Help Graphics will need to verify proof of vaccination for people 12 years of age or older; or a negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours of visiting our cultural center. All people 18 years of age and older must also show identification upon entry.Thank you for working with us to ensure the health and safety of all visitors and that we&#x27;re in compliance with the City of Los Angeles ordinance.
