Ready to learn watercolor?  Come join my one day workshop to discover the very basics to get you started right away!

Welcome artists! I&#x27;ve designed this 2-hour beginner workshop to be a casual exploration into the mysterious wonders of watercolor painting. Together we&#x27;ll learn about various types of brushes essential for a beginner&#x27;s kit, and how to use them. We will also unlock the secrets to some basic painting techniques that we&#x27;ll practice together-- as well as work on some fun exercises to really let your inner artist play! My goal is to help you discover what you can do with watercolor and get you started painting right away!This class is ideal for any beginner artist from 8 yrs old to adult. I highly encourage this class to artists who are interested in travel sketching, nature sketching and art journaling - all of which are passions of mine. Your enrollment also comes with a custom designed, take home beginner&#x27;s kit! The kit includes a handmade sketchbook, a brush, and watercolor set.Please arrive 5-10 minutes early to allow you time for set up and settling into the class space. Class will begin promptly at 10am.The &quot;Wonder Hut&quot; is at the end of the street. Apologies but there is no public restroom available at this location. Please park near the loop (turnaround) at the end of Hellman Ln and follow the signs posted.Refunds are available up to 1 day prior to class before 7pm. Sorry, no exceptions.
