Our mission is to strengthen school based health services and systems that promote the health and academic success of young people.

Oregon School-Based Health Alliance

Training on LGBTQ+ identity, mental health, and the important role that SBHC and school health providers have in supporting LGBTQ+ youth.

During this interactive 3-hour training, we will cover -<ul><li>LGBTQI+ identity and how it intersects with mental health.</li></ul><ul><li>How school health providers, school nurses, and school mental health providers can support and affirm the experience of LGBTQI+ youth.</li></ul><ul><li>Practice gender-inclusive language.</li></ul><ul><li>How to create an LGBTQ+ inclusive environment in person and online.</li></ul> If you are a school-based health center (SBHC) provider, school nurse, mental health provider, or work with youth, this training is for you.OSBHA believes that accessible education and financial restraints should not determine the accessibility of this training. Please contribute as you are able. The suggested donation for this training is $40.
