Fore the Ladies, Inc., is a female-based community and 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with the intent to introduce more women to the game. We strive to bring women together to play, watch and participate in everything golf has to offer. Hey FTL DC crew, let's take our talents to the golf course for a scramble!

East Potomac Golf Course

Fore the Ladies is hosting its very first 18-hole scramble! That&#x27;s right, we&#x27;re taking our skills to the golf course at East Potomac Golf Club&#x27;s Blue Course for a morning round. If you don&#x27;t know what a scramble is, it&#x27;s a format to play golf. The FTL Scramble format will include four golfers all on the same team playing together. Each team member hits a tee shot on each hole. The team then collectively decides which of the four balls is in the best position to play next. After the team decides which ball is best, they mark its position with a tee. Each player retrieves their ball (if it is still retrievable), and plays a shot from that newly designated position. This procedure is repeated for each shot until a ball is holed.For the FTL Scramble, the highest score you&#x27;ll take on a hole is a double bogey (2-over par for that hole). Once your group knows they&#x27;ll double bogey, pick up and move on to the next hole! NBD ;) Tee times will begin at 10 a.m. and when you register you can tell us who you&#x27;d like to play with or we&#x27;ll pair you with someone! A few additional things to know: <ul><li>If your group doesn&#x27;t want to keep score, no problem. We&#x27;re here to have fun. </li><li>Skill level doesn&#x27;t matter! That&#x27;s the benefit of playing a scramble, you can take the best shot of the group and play from there. </li><li>After the round, you&#x27;re welcome to hang out, have some drinks and watch everyone wrap up!</li></ul>
