Celebration of Life: The Pull Up

Minority Recovery Collective Inc. (MRCI, pronounced mercy) was founded to normalize recovery through healthy, positive social interactions. We accomplish this through our signature Sober Social events, Sober-ish Meet Ups, and other programs/services. We promote healthy reintegration into society by creating social gatherings for individuals in recovery, or recovery curious, and the greater community.

In light of the excessive loss and violence being experienced in our community, and across the world, we feel it is imperative to celebrate life. We believe in celebrating with purpose and are excited to announce our week of events for this year&#x27;s 2nd Annual Celebration of Life Week.To support National Mental Health Awareness Month, this year&#x27;s Celebration of Life will kick off our official Capacity Building Campaign: Operation GROW. Phase one of Operation GROW is The SEED Project. For this phase we are focusing our fundraising efforts on fully funding and sustaining our operations. Funds raised during / for Celebration of Life will go towards:<ul><li>Sprinter Van (to expand Street Outreach program)</li></ul><ul><li>Starting the Legacy Fund (a grant / scholarship program for mother &amp;/or youth entrepreneurs)</li></ul><ul><li>Supplies for Programs (notebooks, pens/pencils, snacks, fidgets, books, etc.)</li></ul>As a 501c3 nonprofit, MRCI will use proceeds from merch and ticket sales to continue to keep our programs and services sponsored (at no cost to our fellows) for those who need them most. *Note: All sales are considered donations and may be eligible as tax deductions. Please contact us for a receipt for tax preparation, if applicable.
