Saved By My Feet is the inspirational story of Running Man Tom McGrath who overcame an almost fatal alcohol addiction by running. Tom has run thousands of miles across Ireland and the USA to find out how alcohol and mental health problems are linked and to raise funds for charity along the way. The film will be followed by a brief Q&amp;A with Tom. A portion of the proceeds will go directly to Tom’s fundraising efforts.Tom hails from Co Fermanagh and tells an inspirational story as a recap of his glory days of being a running champion, his troubled past of alcoholism, and his rise from the ashes to the campaigner that he is now. Tom has dedicated his life to helping others by teaching people of the dangers of alcohol abuse. The film follows Tom on his last great Irish run from Belfast to Dublin, at the age of 69, and documents the highs and lows of the journey.Light refreshments will be served.Presented with Team Aisling &amp; Clann Health.
